Ridiculous
Why does it take so much for a developer to finally explain _why_ he's not fixing the f****** bug? I guess playing a game is more fun?

It just seems to me that Debian can't get anything done without a flamewar first. I'm getting so sick of this project that I've decided I'll migrate away from Debian etch (that I've been running for a long while now) before its released.

Hard core distro
Debian has been always a little bit like that. "Community" that consists of FOSS nerds with not social skills. Insane amount of arrogance, stupid little games, bureaucrat attitude, and plain fundamentalism.

In overall Debian project doesn't have any guts, any coordination or sense of importance of things (that's what Ubuntu brings to the table on top of the Debian, adds the mission critical stuff the Debian is completely ignoring). If it was a corporation and I was made the ceo of the corporation I would fire half of the workforce instantly for just plain sucking all the way. Debian developers are amongst the most pitiful bunch of human beings on this planet.
