Google Trends

So, Google has this new thing called Google Trends which pretty much lets you look at their search frequency information and compare percentages. And I’ve spent way too much time on it already. Well, I’ll let you draw your own conclusions from some of the ones that I have entered. Here they are:

Google trends
I find it a little tougher to find the thrill in google trends today that you did on 11 May. Every one of the six news stories cited concerning ruby, python, or perl addressed a non-programming event, e.g., Monty Python. Perhaps it would be worthwhile for google trends to refine those search terms a bit: "ruby software" "python software"...

Re: Google trends
Yea, the linked storeis are less spectacular than they once were. I suppose that this is the reason that trends won't ever be more than a curiosity, though.
